Advantages of Being Time-conscious Time flies like an arrow, and time lost never returns. To most people, punctuality is a way of showing respect to other people's time. Being Time-conscious is a universal tendency.
Here are the four advantages of being Time-conscious. The crucial of all, Being on time for an event shows that you respect the person who set up the event as well as all the other people attending the event. Moreover, it shows you can be counted on. If you are always punctual, people can naturally assume that they can count on you. In addition, it tells others that in addition to knowing the importance of the event, you also know the importance of your part of the team. Last but not the least, a consistent basis adds value to the event.
Once the sands have run out of a person's hourglass, they cannot be replaced. Therefore, My proposal is that we should make the best of time, and make every minute count.
My View on Marriage across Nations With the progression/advancement of globalization, cultural exchanges between different countries are deepening rapidly. With that, marriage across nations is increasing. Obviously, some couples of mixed marriage enjoy their relationship and live happily, whereas some mixed marriages tend to bring about problems and even end up in divorce. Therefore, people have different attitudes toward mixed marriages
Some people are in favor of mixed marriages in that they think love is love, regardless of color or nationality of the couple. And a couple of mixed marriage can learn more about tolerance, compromise and being open with each other as long as they have true love for each other and mutual trust.
However, a good number of people are quite concerned about intercultural marriage. They suspect that such a marriage tends to bring about problems mainly due to cultural differences. Since mixed couples hold different views on values, beliefs and living habits as well, many people may worry that such a marriage has higher divorce rates than marriage of the same race or culture.
In my eyes, I am supportive of intercultural marriage because marriage is based on the true love between the couple. On condition that the couple honestly learn about mutual cultures and are open with each other as well as respect their parents on both sides, they are able to overcome various problems from cultural conflicts and their marriage will work out right

It is known to everyone that smoking is harmful to our health. Research that conducted in many countries has indicated that smoking causes lung cancer, heart disease and various respiratory呼吸的 illnesses.

With the world ever changing so fast, the cease from learning for just a few days will make a person lag behind. What's worse, the animalistic instinct dormant deep in our subconsciousness will come to life, weakening our will to pursue our noble ideal, sapping our determination to sweep away obstacles to our success and strangling our desire for the refinement of our character. Lack of learning will inevitably lead to the stagnation of the mind, or even worse, its fossilization, Therefore, to stay mentally young, we have to take learning as a lifelong career.

What’s more, the tendency still seems to be on the rise. However, people have different opinions about it.Some people think of it positively. They believe doing a part-time job can earn them pocket money （零用钱）and release the financial burden（经济负担） on their parents. Besides, it’s necessary for them to take some real-life courses and learn more about the society so as to keep up with the outside world.
Others have a very different opinion and they think of it negatively. They hold doing a part-time job does more harm than good. In fact, they are actually selling themselves out as cheap unskilled labor and wasting their precious time in college. Besides, it will influence their study and lead them fail to live up to （辜负）the expectations of the country and of their parents.
In my opinion, as a college student, our priority is to study. Halfhearted（半心半意的） efforts can’t make us more competitive in the future job markets. Therefore, we should make full use of every minute in college or at least keep a good balance between study and part-time jobs and give more weight to our studies.
